Description
  • Rox Anne first found her voice along the banks of the Mattagami River in Smooth Rock Falls, a quaint northern town in Ontario where her franco-ontarian heritage immersed her in a rich musical tradition. From an early age, country music wasn’t just a genre—it was the heartbeat of her life. At seven, she boldly declared to her mother that she was destined to be a singer, a dream that  soon transformed into reality as she took the stage at a local festival.

Over the years, Rox Anne honed her craft by teaching herself guitar and discovering the art of songwriting. She threw herself into competitions such as La Voix du Nord, Trois Pistoles en chanson, Idole St-Jean d’Ottawa, le Festival Quand ça nous chante, and Rond Point (APCM), each contest reinforcing her passion for performing and her desire to share her unique perspective with the world. Now 27, Rox Anne is redefining country music with a fresh, modern twist that still pays homage to her roots. Her sound is a blend of authenticity and playful energy, capturing the spirit of home-grown girl power.

In addition to her original songs, she delights her growing fan base on social media by covering tracks from artists like Taylor Swift, Tyler Hilton, Jana Kramer,Taylor Acorn, Kelsea Ballerini & more. Notably, in 2018, she experienced one of her career’s most unexpected and exhilarating moments when Tyler Hilton randomly picked her from the crowd to perform his hit “When the Stars Go Blue.” The magic of that night was only amplified when she had the honor of sharing the stage with him once again in 2020—a truly dream come true. Whether her lyrics are sassy or soulful, Rox Anne’s music always carries a message of resilience and connection—reminding us that vulnerability is a strength, and that no one is ever truly alone in their struggles.

Looking ahead, 2025 is set to be the year of new music. Since the release of her first EP, Rox Anne has been working tirelessly, pouring her heart into new tracks that promise to captivate and inspire. More ready than ever to share her evolution, she dreams of gracing the stage at the Grand Ole Opry or recording a duet in a Nashville studio, inviting listeners to join her on a journey of passion and perseverance.

Show Rox Anne your appreciation by sending a tip!

Showing appreciation for artists through tipping and direct support is a meaningful way to acknowledge their dedication and creative labor. Often pouring countless hours into writing and rehearsing to performing and recording, they rely on the support of their audience to sustain their artistic endeavors.

Your direct contributions, whether through buying their music, attending their shows, or offering a tip, directly fuel their ability to continue creating the art that enriches our lives. It's a tangible way to say "thank you" for their unique talents and help ensure their voices continue to be heard!

If you don't see any tipping buttons it's because Rox Anne didn't add any yet! Send them a message and let them know!

We do not take a cut from these tips. Artists receive their tips directly from you through their own payment processing links (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, etc)
